Mary Magdalene and Peter Video!

So, Chris and I did our Lent sermon for Easter morning. It fit perfect. I don’t think I did as well this time. I was SO nervous. Maybe even more than last time. But, I insisted on a video if I was going to do it again, just for you , my loyal readers! It’s more audio than video because we just have the iSight in Chris’ mac. But, you can see a little bit and hear all of it.  Enjoy!

The very first time I saw your site you were doing your sermon on Ezeikiel as a blog post. I invited a few internet monk readers to check it out. He had just done a post on women in ministry, and mainline Christianity in general. Anyway…

Easter was great for me this year. I preached on how Easter was a time to celebrate the resurrection, not drag out the crucifixion story for one more week of play. The crucifixion only has meaning in light of the resurrection. I invite you to read my latest post on sharing the gospel at http://www.clarkbunch.wordpress.com and tell me what you think. Yes I’m a Baptist preacher, but don’t let that turn you away. Thanks for blogging, and the video. Keep it up.

What a creative way to tell the story! It’s helpful, I think, to present stories from different perspectives…puts it in a new light and enables listeners to gain fresh revelation. Did you write the content ahead of time? It’s very clear that it arose from a great deal of quiet, reflective time with the story. Great job!!
